My name is Sierra, and I am a multidisciplinary artist and ontological designer. I create large-scale installations, which have been exhibited at festivals across Australia, including Woodford, Zen Fest, and Open Heart and Mind. From the start of my artistic journey, I dreamed of creating experiences that challenge people's perceptions. As my work has evolved, I’ve witnessed my installations transform into community spaces—places where people feel inspired, connected, and embraced by a shared sense of celebration. My mission as an artist is to provoke and push boundaries, inspiring new ways of seeing and shaping the world. My work is not just my own; it is a co-creation, brought to life by a multidisciplinary team of incredible artists. Together, may we inspire the practice of new values as we continue to create art in collaboration.

My name is Sierra, as a multidisciplinary artist and ontological designer, my work explores the dynamic intersection of art, technology, and community. I approach the indivisible relationship between the twofold process of creation and destruction as an ongoing opportunity to redesign our world and ourselves through practices that support the delicate thread of balance.

May we create art guided by our hearts, embodying the values of the Earth we wish to live in.

My name is A.Sierra. As a multidisciplinary artist and ontological designer, my work explores the dynamic intersections of art, technology, and community. I approach the interconnected processes of creation and destruction as continuous opportunities to reimagine how we, as social agents, shape our world and ourselves through practices that sustain our delicate natural balance.

I create large-scale frameworks that are intentionally designed to be open-ended. These frameworks serve a dual purpose: on one side, the physical structure acts as a canvas for the artwork, inviting shared creation rather than a solo endeavor and facilitating cross-collaboration among diverse skill sets in multimedia art forms. On the other side, a collaborative artistic framework supports the emerging social organisation, consisting of open-ended questions guiding an open dialogue through thoughtful questions, aligning group values, and fostering a supportive environment for creative expression. It aims to create a structured yet flexible process where every member's contributions are acknowledged and resources are shared equitably, resulting in a fair, organised and meaningful collective experience as the artwork is created.

Rather than presenting a fixed, literal message, the installations are meant to be open-ended structures or platforms. This flexibility lets viewers interact and interpret them in personal ways.

The installations are intended to represent ideas symbolically. Instead of being literal or direct, they hint at deeper meanings, emotions, or social commentary, inviting the viewer to explore these ideas through their own interpretations

are intentionally structured to be open-ended and symbolic. Rather than conveying a single, fixed message, the artwork serves as a framework that invites interpretation. Its "metaphoric underpinnings" suggest that deeper meanings are embedded in the installation, allowing viewers to explore complex themes or ideas on their own terms.

As a multidisciplinary artist and ontological designer, my work explores the fluid intersections of art, technology, and community. Guided by my studies in ontological design with theorists Tony Fry and Eleni Kalantidou, I approach the indivisible processes of creation and destruction as ongoing opportunity to reimagine ways of recreating both ourselves and our world through practices that support balance.

Our practices and choices are steeped in the metaphors we live by—frameworks that inform not just how we see, but how we create our world as we live the values that we are.

My large-scale immersive installations are a communal effort, designed as frameworks of metaphoric underpinnings, crafted to evoke a deeper engagement, conversations and reconsideration of perspectives. By weaving together (art free from expectations, material, light, and interaction, I invite viewers to reflect on their relationship with objects and environments. Each piece is an invitation to examine the fluidity of being and the constructed nature of reality, where we design not only objects but also the very ways in which we exist.
